A few more weeks left before the little guy is here. We are so excited. Everything is going well. Here is a picture of us at 30 weeks. We are working on the nursery and finding him a name.
Daycare is finally setup as well as the hospital. We have a
shower on July 14, July 22, & July 29 and are so excited about the
soon to be arrival.
Enjoy the update!

| It's a BOY!
I will be 27 weeks along on Thursday and all is well. I have a
doctors appointment tomorrow and will have my glucose screening.
At the last doctors appointment everything was looking great and I have
only gained a total of 5 pounds as of then.
April was an exciting month, we celebrated our 5th anniversary, felt
the baby move (mommy & daddy), and found out we would be having a
baby boy. We also went home to visit and were able to spend some
quality time with family. Julie was home to visit as well; she
read to the little man that night out of Ben's favorite book as a kid
(briar rabbit). She also gave him a rubber duckie. Oh yeah,
we also got a new truck (2007 Dodge Ram Quad Cab SLT 1500,
Black). Basically it is just like our other truck but it has a
back seat and two more doors. We are enjoying it so far.
May was also pretty eventful, we took a few days vacation and had
planned to go to the zoo in Omaha; however the rainy weather kept us
home doing projects. So I now have a new flower bed in the front
yard and a spruced up back yard. The stairs to the basement got
finished and the garage door now opens with the push of a button.
As well as my screen door being back where it belongs. My parents
came to visit over the memorial day weekend. Mom and I went and
had Pedicures & Manicures & Massages and enjoyed
ourselves. Mom had never done any of those activites but loved
them. We will have to plan to do that again. Oh yeah, we
also registered for all the goodies at Babies R Us. Ben and dad
played around the house and went to Hap Miller's house (a friend of my
dads from back home that lives in Bonner). Nothing to
exciting. Mom and I also shopped and she bought me some maternity
clothes and the little guy three onesis and a toy cow that moo's.
Dr. Hammond's mom and dad got him a really nice quilted blanket, very
detailed. I have a shower back home on July 14th for the
Ellis/Shanks side of the family and then another on July 29th for the
Roberson/Michel side and Friends. I need to double check the
registries and make sure I got the necessary items on them.
Tomorrow we will be touring one of the hospitals (hopefully both of
them) to decide where to deliever. I will also be working on
finding a daycare to watch this little one.
This last weekend, I had a bunch of new (first time) events. We
went to Chicago for a seminar for work; therefore, I went on my first
airplane ride (didn't like the take off, but could do it again so it
doesn't take so long to arrive at the destination), I rode in a Limo
(it was cheaper than 2 taxis), rode the united states largest farris
wheel, and had the worst taxi ride ever. It was a fun weekend but
very tiring. Of course it is 4;15 AM and I can't sleep but am
exhausted. I had a cramp in my leg that woke me up and I just
couldn't drift back off to sleep. Therefore ya'll get an
update.

| Everyone is whinning because I don't have a blog, xanga, my space or
etc, so here goes. Enjoy because they will be few and far between. I
would rather read everyone elses blogs than writing my own. So this
will be my attempt at pleasing you all for a while.
So lately we have been a little stressed about the many things going on currently.
Baby
Ellis due to Arrive in Sept 07. We are not sure about the sex yet but
should know in a few weeks. We think that we are going to do the
nursery in a farm/barnyard theme, maybe with a mural or something. We
have a checkup appointment tomorrow.
Our truck issue. I was
involved in an auto accident in Feb and our truck is still not fixed.
It is on the verge of being totaled but we can't find out any
information because the gentleman dealing with our insurance has been
out of the office for the last few days because his mom is in the
hospital with severe heart problems. We are probably going to sell it
even if they do fix it, so we are trying to figure out what is the best
buy for us right now.
Ben is really busy at work because they
are short handed and looking for employees. So he is working a lot of
overtime and is just plain wore out when he gets home.
We are
also really busy at work and I am trying to make sure everything is
caught up and that everyone knows what they will be doing while I am on
Maternity leave. | | |
